  ENTRY LEVEL CCR COURSES TO DECO AND TRIMIX INSTRUCTOR COURSES

RAID CCR SPECIALTIES

RAID Rebreather Specialties are unit specific courses that are designed to function as a stand alone for those already qualified CCR divers wanting to explore and cross over to a different unit, as well as work flawlessly in conjunction with practical user level courses ranging from introduction to decompression level courses.


Units currently supported by the Diving Matrix Team:

VMS: Sentinel & RedHead & RedBare
AP: Inspiration & Vision

Poseidon: MKVI & Se7en
JJ: JJ-CCR

Prerequisites:
• To be a minimum of 18 years old.
• If crossing over onto another unit, be a RAID Level 3 CCR diver
• Unit specific

– Approximately 2-3 Days

RAID RB DECO 40

This Speciality is designed to extend your knowledge and introduce the skills and decompression procedures required in the use of oxygen enriched gases for Sport Diving. It develops the sport diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the concept of limited decompression sport diving.


This programme qualifies you to a depth of 40m and complete dives with mandatory decompression stop requirements for up to maximum of 15 minutes.

Prerequisites:
• To be a minimum of 18 years old.
• To be a certified diver for at least 3 months.
• Certified RAID Rebreather Level 2 diver or equivalent
• Submit a current Rescue Breathing/CPR Training and Oxygen Provider certificate (DAN/equivalent).
• Specific Rebreather Speciality or equivalent.
• 10 logged hours underwater using a rebreather within the last 18 months. logged at least 5 hours between 20 - 30 m

RAID RB DECO 50

This is an rebreather Extended Range entry into Trimix programme designed to extend your knowledge and introduce the skills and decompression procedures required in the use of mixed (Oxygen, Helium & Nitrogen) gases for Sport Diving to a maximum depth of 50m.


It develops the sport diving skills and provides a greater understanding of the concept of limited decompression sport diving with the use of Helium gas to reduce narcosis (18/27).

This programme qualifies you to a depth of 50 m/164 ft and complete dives with mandatory decompression stop requirements for up to maximum of 30 minutes.

Gasses:
• Stage cylinder Open Circuit oxygen enriched gas (EANx / Nitrox) mixes from 21% to a maximum of 50% oxygen content.
• Diluent gas must not have an oxygen content below 18%
• Maximum set point 1.3
• A maximum of 27% Helium content


Prerequisites:
• To be a minimum of 18 years old.
• To be a certified diver for at least 3 months.
• Certified RAID Rebreather 40m Level 3 diver or equivalent

• At least 5 hours between 27- 40 m
• Specific Rebreather Speciality for the unit you are diving
• Submit a current Rescue Breathing/CPR Training and Oxygen Provider certificate (DAN/equivalent).
• 30 logged hours on the unit you are diving

RAID RB DECO 60

This rebreather Trimix programme is designed to extend your knowledge and develop the skills for decompression procedures required in the use of mixed (Oxygen, Helium & Nitrogen) gases for Sport Diving to a maximum depth of 60m.

Prerequisites:
• To be a minimum of 18 years old.
• To be a certified diver for at least 8 months.
• Certified RB Deco 50m/164ft Speciality diver or equivalent
• At least 5 hours between 35 - 50 m decompression dives.
• Submit a current Rescue Breathing/CPR Training and Oxygen Provider certificate (DAN/equivalent).
• 75 logged hours underwater using a rebreather.
•Proficiency with the use of manual inflation addition (MI) gasses (in to the breathing loop) with a minimum of 10 hours logged underwater and minimum of 10 ascents from a minimum depth of 40m / 132ft, including decompression stops whilst using MI to maintain a safe breathable gas.
